I was recommended to Toomer Tree Services by a a tree surgeon I had used in the Blandford area. As my needs were in Sherborne he suggested Daniel Smith and I am glad he did. Daniel and his partner arrived promptly and very quickly felled a large cherry tree. They dissected the trunk into splittable sections and logged anything that could be logged. They worked quickly and left the site in a tidy condition.

A most pleasant and polite young man runs this business with his partner and they are a pleasure to deal with. Daniel is a very good tree surgeon and a knowledgeable arborist. Daniel and his colleague have worked on my garden on two occasions and I plan to use them again soon. The service is efficient and friendly. The site visit was detailed and expert advice invaluable. They also dealt with the planning people. Communication and time keeping spot on. I found the estimates reasonable especially when one considers the amount of equipment and skill employed. Nothing in the garden was damaged as great care was taken to catch and remove branches and foliage as it was cut. The clean up was extremely thorough and the whole operation fascinating to watch. Daniel and his colleague felled a dead tree for me, cutting the remains into logs, and also carried out other smaller-scale tree work in the garden. They were careful to avoid damage to surrounding plants and tidied thoroughly afterwards. Toomer Trees recently carried out some work in my garden. This consisted of cutting down six trees in my front garden and removing them, along with the roots. They then trimmed some other trees in the back garden and made an excellent job of this. All the cuttings were cleared away and the whole garden, back and front, was cleared and cleaned up most professionally and thoroughly. The charge for all this work was very reasonable, comparing very favourably with other estimates I obtained for the work. My only regret is that I had not discovered this excellent company previously. I shall certainly be using them again in the future.
